Joseph Koniak
Joseph is a stunningly versatile and passionate hairdresser who comes from an extraordinary creative background. His parents were responsible for founding Molton Brown, the famous hairdressers - now an international beauty products chain; and his grandparents are the founders of Browns, the world famous Fashion Emporium on South Molton Street.

Joseph began his hairdressing career at age 12, sweeping up the curls of the movers and shakers in the Molton Brown salon. Since training under his father he has developed a unique style of his own which has attracted a new generation of admirers. He has also worked alongside some of the most prestigious names in the world of British hairdressing such as Sam McKnight, Carol Hemming and Tyler Johnson to name a few.

Joseph’s work has included shows for designers such as Paul Smith, Matthew Williamson and Vivienne Westwood; and on various pop videos and films including Harry Potter II just to name a few.

Joseph’s other talents include acting, martial arts, dancing and choreography for both theatre and TV, and is a leading exponent in the world of Salsa. Embracing all these interests enhances Joseph’s creative vision and brings an individual flavour to his work.
